Lexington12.JPG

Here is our sweet mare "Liberty Hill's Lilly of the Valley".  Her sire is Shogunner and her dam is Chelsea.  She was imported as a young filly by Black Forest Shires.  She stands at 14.2 and is homozygous for the tobiano gene.  Lilly has been to many events including "Mule Days" in Columbia TN, The Feathered Horse Classic in Perry, GA and the Gypsy Horse Classic in Lexington KY.  My oldest daughter, Taylor rides her on the trails and shows her.  Lilly has quite a personality and wishes she had hands, she is into EVERYTHING with those lips of hers, reaching and stretching for kisses & to get into whatever you don't want her to! She has tons of hair and long luxurious silky feather.  She is a special girl.  She is currently in foal to our Lion Heart, due in April.  We are very anxious to see this foal.  If it's a filly, it's already spoken for!

Here is Liberty Hill's Miss Molly, GVHS/GHRA 2006 mare.  Her sire is the fabulous Clononeen Shamrock of Miller Stables and her dam is Caoimhe of Finnegan's Fields. Molly is a very sweet young lady and is broke to ride.  Even though she's still pretty green, my daughters both ride her on the trail and she treats them very well.  She's very easy going and is quite comical - she will leave the herd to come play follow the leader with me and my girls when we go for walks in the woods.  She truly thinks she's a human! Molly is a bigger Gypsy, standing at 15 hands.

A very special THANK YOU to Cheryl Lang of Aisling Farm for making it possible for Molly to join our equine family!!

Peg-Tess027.jpg

This is Peg being ridden by my oldest daughter, Taylor.  Peg is a purebred registered clydesdale mare with very unusual coloring. Peg is a very tall girl, standing at 17 hands! She will be registered as a foundation drum horse with the American Drum Horse Association   She is in foal to our stallion Lion Heart and is due in June 2009.  We are looking forward to seeing this foal and he/she will be offered for sale.

Honey's Highland of ETF is our 16.3 hand registered Clydesdale mare, also registered with the American Drum Horse Association and The Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse Association. She is bred to our very own Lion Heart and is due in February 2009! This will be the beginning of Lion Heart's first foal crop! We are very excited to see this well bred drum foal, which will be offered for sale.  You can see photos of Honey's previous 2 drum foals, both by Keebler of Golden Signature Farm on our "Sold" page.  Shadow, a colt and Sparkler, a filly.

Honey is a very sweet and gentle lady and is well broke to ride and drive. My youngest daughter Jenna (who weighs 55 pounds soaking wet) rides Honey on the road and trails. She looks like a speck of dust up on this BIG mare, but we know she's in the best of hands, Honey takes very good care of our little Jenna.  She's getting ready for a Sunday drive here. She is our alpha mare and is an "Attention Hog" as she doesn't allow me to pet any of the other horses when I'm out in the pasture, she "hogs" me to herself. Such a silly girl!!!!
